The American University in
Cairo (AUC) was founded in 1919. Today, AUC is the region’s premier
English-language university — an essential contributor to the social,
political and cultural life of the Middle East. It also serves as a
crossroads for the world’s cultures: a vital, vibrant forum for reasoned
argument, spirited debate and global understanding.
During April 2 - 4, the
conference sessions will be held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the
New Library of Alexandria.
Transportation from Cairo to Alexandria will be provided to all participants.
Since its inauguration in 2002, Bibliotheca Alexandria has been a focal
point for the production and dissemination of knowledge and a place of
dialogue, learning and understanding between cultures and peoples. The
bibliotheca hosted numerous conferences and workshop in all fields of
